Early nerve repair – a new way to combat herpes zoster-associated neuralgia

In the usual clinical work found that many patients suffering from herpes zoster have gone through a tortuous process of seeking medical attention, although the herpes attack to the hospital, the medication eaten, the medication are coated, the injection medication are played, but the herpes is not quickly controlled, the most unbearable is the local pain, the heartbreaking pain, so that people can not sleep at night, unforgettable, some people’s pain will be prolonged for several years In some people, the pain can last for years, even more than 10 years, and can be unbearable. If chronic pain is not effectively treated, it can lead to depression, anxiety, loss of quality of life, and even loss of self-care, making pain one of the major killers of human health. In the medical field, pain has been considered the fifth most important vital sign after breathing, pulse, body temperature and blood pressure. Because of the severity and chronic course of postherpetic neuralgia, it has become a major problem affecting the health of our patients and friends, especially the senior citizens. When carefully analyzed, the most important reason why herpes zoster produces biting neuralgia is the result of the varicella-zoster virus invading and damaging the corresponding sensory nerves. Despite recent advances in neurobiological research, clinical treatment is still unsatisfactory, and our current treatment options, especially the early focus on being able to control the virus, may still be of very limited utility. This is because conventional treatment often takes 2 to 3 weeks. The onset of herpes zoster, from the start of local skin pain to the remission of the herpes, also takes 2 to 3 weeks, which is actually a complete process of the virus raging and attacking the nerves. This means that our current treatments may not really be effective in controlling the development of the disease process. More seriously, these treatments cannot effectively block the virus from attacking the nerves and provide effective pain relief, and a few patients end up having to receive hormonal closure or long-term pain medication. After more than 20 years of research, we have searched for a treatment method that quickly and effectively inhibits the virus from attacking the nerves while repairing them. Generally, within the first week of herpes zoster attack, after 1 to 2 treatments, the herpes at the lesion can atrophy and the pain can be significantly relieved, and 3 treatments basically cure the disease. Patients within 2 weeks of the onset of the disease are also basically cured with 5 to 7 treatments in general. Thousands of cases have been followed up and basically no post-herpetic neuralgia was left. This indicates that post-herpetic neuralgia can be completely avoided by controlling the rampant virus early from the perspective of protecting and repairing damaged nerves, which can effectively stop the erosion and destruction of nerves around the virus.
