Children’s intramuscular injection sites include gluteus maximus, deltoid, quadriceps, and so on.
1. Gluteus Maximus: It can be evenly divided into 4 parts of the buttocks, and the gluteus maximus muscle is located in the position of 1/4 of the upper outer quadrant.
2. Deltoid: The deltoid muscle is located in the upper part of the upper limb. When you raise your arm, the most obvious part of the muscle is the deltoid.
3. Quadriceps: The quadriceps muscle is located on the anterior side of the thigh and is composed of the medial femoral muscle, lateral femoral muscle, intermediate femoral muscle, and rectus femoral muscle.
When giving children muscle injections, you can choose the above three parts. Injecting drugs in these three parts of the body is not only safe, but also the drugs are easily absorbed.
