What’s wrong with urinary occult blood (2+)?

Urinary occult blood (2+) is indicative of hematuria, which can be caused by a variety of reasons: 1) stones in the urinary system, which is the most common cause. It is often accompanied by pain in the lower back and abdomen, along with visual or microscopic hematuria, which requires ultrasound examination of the urinary system to further rule out; 2. When infection occurs in the urinary system, it can also appear positive for occult blood. Because the epithelium of the urinary system is congested after infection, a little bleeding mixed in the urine can appear positive for occult blood. It is usually accompanied by frequent urination, urgent urination, painful urination, or lumbago, fever and other accompanying symptoms, which require further ultrasound examination and culture examination of the urinary system; 3. When a tumor occurs in the urinary system, the growth process can be accompanied by central necrosis and bleeding, and the blood entering the urine can be positive for occult blood. Further CT examination is needed to rule out whether there is a tumor of the urinary system.
