Delayed menstruation for 20 days may be due to pregnancy or other reasons. HCG and ultrasound tests should be performed, and if pregnancy is confirmed, the pregnancy-related conditions should be treated. If pregnancy is ruled out, the 20-day delay in menstruation should be considered to be due to other reasons, and a sex hormone 6 test should be performed to find out if there are any corresponding changes in ovarian function, such as whether there is a lack of ovarian reserve function, or whether there is a possibility of polycystic ovary syndrome. If there is an increase in androgen levels, or some manifestations, as well as persistent menstrual disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome is possible at this point, and medications such as darbepoetin-35 or metformin are given to deal with the problem. After adjustment of the menstrual cycle, the menstruation will reach a relatively regular state, depending on whether there is a desire for pregnancy or not, and then subsequent treatment accordingly.
