How to treat parasitic diseases

For parasitic diseases, the first step is to identify the type of parasites, such as roundworms, worms, tapeworms, and if necessary, do a pathogen test or isolate the eggs in the feces. For roundworms, most people take deworming medication, the most commonly used in the clinic is albendazole, which can drive the roundworms out of the intestinal tract after 1-2 doses of deworming. For encapsulated worms, in the case of vesicular hepatic encapsulation, it is usually necessary to take albendazole for about six months to a year after surgery to prevent recurrence of encapsulated worms. For cystic liver worm disease, patients also need to take albendazole for about three to six months after surgery to prevent the recurrence of the worm. Patients should usually pay attention to their living habits and wash their hands after eating and defecating. Pay attention to the protection of personal belongings, and try not to come into direct contact with animal offal as well as feces and other substances.
