Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae is effective in removing cold and dampness, but the efficacy of single herb is limited, clinically it needs to be used with other herbs after identification by a Chinese medicine practitioner.
Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae has the effects of regulating qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating qi and strengthening the spleen), and drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm from the body by drying dampness). Clinically, it is mainly used to treat Qi stagnation in the spleen and stomach, vomiting, hiccups, damp phlegm, cold phlegm cough, chest paralysis (chest tightness and pain), and so on.
It should be noted that Chen Pi should not be used in cases of qi deficiency, dry cough with yin deficiency, vomiting of blood, and those with red tongue and little fluid, and those with solid internal heat.
If the patient has any discomfort, please go to the regular medical institutions; if you need to use Chen Pi, must be under the guidance of a professional doctor.
