What’s with the interferon sweating?

Sweating with interferon may be caused by a side effect of the drug. Interferon is a class of glycoprotein, a multifunctional cytokine produced by monocytes or lymphocytes, with a high degree of species specificity, with inhibition of cell division, regulation of immunity, anti-virus, anti-tumor and other effects. It is prohibited for use by people who are allergic to interferon, pregnant and lactating women, patients with a history of psychiatric disorders and patients with central nervous system disorders. Fever, fatigue, generalized muscle pain and sweating may occur when using interferon for a long period of time, and some patients may also experience symptoms such as abdominal cramps, vague pain, and burning sensation in the vagina. When using interferon, patients must be under the guidance and advice of a doctor, and remember not to use it privately to avoid adverse effects.
