Stage 1c treatment modalities for ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma include surgical treatment and chemotherapy. Ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma is one of the common malignant tumors of the female reproductive system. Stage 1c endometrioid adenocarcinoma of ovary indicates that the tumor has penetrated the surface of the ovary, or the peritoneum has ruptured, or malignant cells are found in the ascites or in the abdominal lavage. This stage is an early stage and treatment is more effective. Stage 1c endometrioid adenocarcinoma of the ovary is mainly treated by surgery. Total hysterectomy, bilateral adnexectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy (usually along the root of transverse colonic mesentery), pelvic lymph node dissection and abdominal para-aortic lymph node dissection are routinely performed. For young, fertile patients, stage I patients with tumors confined to one ovary, fertility can be preserved. Meanwhile, for patients with stage 1c ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma, postoperative chemotherapy treatment is recommended to further reduce the risk of recurrence. Patients should seek timely medical treatment if they find ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma, and standardize the treatment as soon as possible to avoid deterioration of the condition.
