What’s the matter with a lot of discharge from the lower body?

There are two types of discharge from the lower body. The first is physiological, such as when a woman is ovulating or before her period, when hormone levels change, leading to increased secretions. During ovulation, women’s lower body secretions tend to be like water and thin, and before menstruation secretions tend to be thicker, mainly due to higher levels of progesterone in the body before menstruation. The second is pathologic, often seen in vaginal and vulvar inflammation, if there are trichomonas, mold or bacterial infections inside the vagina will often lead to increased discharge. In addition to the discharge, there will also be a change in the odor of the discharge, and some patients will have a fishy odor or even accompanied by vulvar itching.
