The anastomotic nail refers to the titanium nail of the circumcision anastomosis, which usually comes off slowly with the scab after surgery, and the shedding time is usually 2~3 weeks after surgery. In the early postoperative period, the nail is able to clamp the surgical wound and help the patient to stop bleeding. 2~3 weeks after the operation, the tissues of the surgical site gradually recover, the edema subsides, and the anastomosis nail slowly falls off. In the process of anastomotic nail shedding, potassium permanganate solution can be applied to soak the surgical wound after dilution, soaking the wound can remove wound secretion and promote wound healing, in order to improve the speed of anastomotic nail shedding. When the anastomosis nail is slowly dislodged, the patient may experience localized tingling, which can exist for 2~3 days and disappear after the anastomosis nail is completely dislodged. If the tingling is severe, patients are advised to go to the hospital for comprehensive observation by the doctor to decide on further treatment options.
