The heart is located to the left of the center of the chest cavity. The heart is divided into 4 chambers which are left ventricle, right ventricle, right atrium, and left atrium. When checking the 4D ultrasound during pregnancy, you need to check if there is a four-chambered heart present. If there is a 4-chambered heart, cardiac malformations can be basically ruled out. If the four-chambered heart is not seen, consider a heart malformation. The right ventricular funnel is located in the inverted triangle between the heart and the anterior chest wall. The right ventricular funnel is the part of the right ventricle that is close to the pulmonary valve.
