There are three types of HPV vaccines: bivalent, quadrivalent and nine-valent, all of which need to be injected three times, usually 1-2 months after the first injection and at least six months after the third injection, or more than four months after the second injection. The third vaccination is given at least six months after the first vaccination, or more than four months after the second vaccination. The first HPV vaccination is preferred for adolescents, and there is no uniform age requirement for the cervical cancer vaccine in China, but the World Health Organization recommends an age range of 9-45 years, with the younger the age, the more effective the vaccination. In general, HPV vaccination is not recommended for pregnant women. If you are planning to get pregnant or are already pregnant, it is recommended to postpone or temporarily interrupt the vaccination process and wait until the end of pregnancy.
