What’s the difference between a fracture and a break?

A fracture is not necessarily a complete break, but a break must have occurred.
The medical concept of fracture is the interruption of the continuity or integrity of the cortical part of the bone, and broken refers to the interruption of the integrity of the bony part, so broken actually belongs to the category of fracture, and the two belong to the inclusive relationship.
On the other hand, fracture includes interruption of continuity, including complete fracture and incomplete fracture, while broken only refers to complete fracture. Also, a fracture can mean that the bone is not displaced, whereas a broken bone means that the bone is displaced, and a fracture does not necessarily mean that it is broken.
Broken only means complete fracture, but in the case of fracture or broken, should go to the orthopedic department of the regular hospital in time to receive treatment, according to the severity of the condition to choose the treatment method, in serious cases need to be surgical treatment, in order to avoid the emergence of other serious consequences.
