What’s with the bumps on the gums?

A lump on the gums may be gingival tumor, papilloma and other diseases, as follows.
1. Gingivoma: an inflammatory reaction tumor-like proliferation occurring in the gingival papilla, which may be caused by local stimuli such as plaque, tartar, food impaction and other stimuli, and may also be caused by endocrine changes, such as women’s pregnancy is prone to gingivomas, which usually occur in a single tooth, and the lumps are rounded or oval, with different sizes and diameters ranging from a few millimeters to 1~2cm.
2. Papilloma: a cauliflower-like or wart-like mass formed by local epithelial ectodermal and polypoid hyperplasia, with a soft texture and a nodular, papillary or warty surface.
