What’s wrong with your feet when you walk?

Possible causes of foot pain when walking are plantar fat pad inflammation, metatarsal fascia inflammation, Achilles tendonitis and so on.
1. Plantar fat pad inflammation: mainly caused by trauma, wear and tear, inflammation and other factors (such as sports injuries, discomfort in shoes, inflammation around the joints of the feet), the fat pad will be repeatedly squeezed under the action of these factors, which will cause inflammatory reaction. The pain is mainly in the root of the foot, especially when walking on the ground, and the pain is usually not obvious when resting.
2. Metatarsal fascia inflammation: refers to the sterile inflammatory reaction of muscle and fascia. It is mainly caused by trauma, fatigue and cold. Typical symptoms are pain in the sole of the heel and the ball of the foot in the morning or after a long period of rest, and pain in the toes and ankle joints is aggravated by walking and passive dorsiflexion when starting to stand and walk.
3. Achilles tendonitis: this disease is a degenerative lesion, often due to strenuous exercise, overweight and other reasons to strain the tendon, which leads to tendon elasticity decline, resulting in calcification of the tendon, and the gradual formation of Achilles tendonitis. It is mainly characterized by localized redness, swelling and pain in the Achilles tendon, which is aggravated after activities.
In addition to the above reasons, flatfoot syndrome and achalasia can also cause the above symptoms. If the above symptoms are not relieved, or accompanied by other symptoms, you should go to the hospital for treatment to identify the cause.
