Does Prednisone and Aspirin Affect Pregnancy?

Taking prednisone and aspirin after pregnancy has an effect.
Prednisone belongs to the adrenocorticotropic hormone drugs, if used after pregnancy, the glucocorticoid will pass through the placenta and increase the incidence of placental insufficiency, reduced neonatal weight or stillbirth.
Aspirin belongs to the group of antipyretic and analgesic, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, and antiplatelet aggregating drugs, and when taken in large amounts for a long period of time during the second trimester of pregnancy, it prolongs the gestation period and increases the risk of peripartum labor syndrome as well as antepartum hemorrhage.
Use in the last two months of pregnancy increases the risk of fetal hemorrhage or neonatal hemorrhage, and prolonged use in the second trimester of pregnancy can lead to constriction or early atresia of the fetal ductus arteriosus, causing persistent pulmonary hypertension and heart failure in the newborn.
It is recommended to go to the hospital in time, under the examination of the doctor, to take targeted treatment.
