Manic manifestations of psychotic mania

The manifestations of psychotic mania are roughly divided into three areas: the first is high emotion or irritability. The second is racing thoughts. The third is increased activity. In the case of elevated emotion, the patient may appear to be giddy, smug, enthusiastic, and happy for no reason, and at the same time may change his or her face in a second, and may become furious because of a different opinion or a joke. The main manifestation of the increased activity is that the patient may be very quick and agile in thinking and associating, and may speak incessantly and eloquently, which is difficult to be interrupted, and there may be phonological and ideological associations, that is, there is no obvious pause between words and sentences. The main manifestation of increased activity is that the patient may be busy and tireless, with a reduced need for sleep and instinctive hyperactive desires, such as a greater volume of meals and a higher sexual desire.
