What is the difference between Lonicera and Honeysuckle?

Lonicera japonica and honeysuckle are different in terms of flavor and attribution, efficacy and main treatment. 1. Lonicera japonica is sweet in flavor and cold in nature, belonging to lung and stomach meridian; honeysuckle is sweet in flavor and cold in nature, belonging to lung, heart and stomach meridian. 2. Lonicera has the effect of clearing away heat and toxins (clearing away heat and toxins in the body), dredging the wind and opening up the channels; honeysuckle has the effect of clearing away heat and toxins, and evacuating wind-heat. 3.
