1. Rest in bed for 1-2 hours after egg retrieval. Observe changes in blood pressure, pulse, abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, etc. Drink plenty of water and urinate more often after surgery (on the same day) to prevent urinary tract infection. 2. There may be a small amount of blood oozing from the puncture site of the ovum retrieval needle after surgery, so the vaginal discharge may have a small amount of blood color in it. This is normal and there is no need to panic. If you have sudden onset of severe abdominal pain, fever, or increased vaginal bleeding, please contact your primary care doctor promptly. 4.A high protein diet is the mainstay of your diet after egg retrieval, especially if you have one of the following symptoms: polycystic ovaries, high number of eggs, high hormone levels, young, short and thin, sensitive body, please eat a lot of milk, soy milk, fish, shrimp and other high protein foods, but be careful to avoid diarrhea and constipation. 5. Luteal support is needed after egg retrieval, with intramuscular injection of HCG/progesterone or progesterone suppositories vaginally, at a fixed time and in an accurate dose, without unauthorized change of dosage or omission. If you do not take the medication on time, you will automatically give up the IVF treatment in this cycle, so please make sure to follow the doctor’s instructions.
