The main symptoms include palpitation and anxiety, shortness of breath, chest tightness, fatigue, and pallor, or spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the day, aggravated by the slightest movement), which will worsen after a little activity. And the patient’s tongue is pale in color and the pulse is weak. In addition, people with insufficient heart qi may have symptoms of insufficient heart yang due to untimely or wrong treatment, which can be seen as chills (fear of cold, cold extremities), blue face and lips, and even critical symptoms such as profuse cold sweating and a weak pulse. Therefore, it is not true that there are six manifestations of heart qi deficiency.
