A normal report card for tubal imaging should suggest normal morphology in the uterine cavity with no abnormal echogenicity. There should be a large amount of diffuse contrast in the pelvic area at the umbilical end of the fallopian tubes on both sides. A female tubal imaging can be used to detect whether a woman’s fallopian tubes are patent and the morphology of the uterine cavity. If there is a blockage in the fallopian tubes, the site of the blockage and the extent of the blockage can also be reported. The degree of tubal blockage is mainly determined by the pattern of diffusion, so the amount of contrast agent diffused in the uterine cavity is reported and can be used to determine whether further treatment is needed based on the diffusion. In addition, if there is a blockage in the fallopian tubes, there will be some pain during the imaging test.
