Vedelizumab should be stored at 2 to 8°C away from light.
Among them, vedelizumab compound solution can be stored at 2℃~8℃ for 8 hours. The 0.9% sodium chloride solution dilution of this product can be stored at 2°C to 8°C for 24 hours and 20°C to 25°C for 12 hours. The dilution of Ringer’s lactate solution can be stored at 2℃~ 8℃ for 8 hours, but not at 20℃~25℃.
Vedolizumab is an intestinal selective integrin inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of Crohn’s disease as well as ulcerative colitis. Patients’ vital signs and symptoms should be closely monitored after each dose.
Vedolizumab should be contraindicated in patients with active severe infections such as tuberculosis, sepsis, and opportunistic infections such as progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy. Patients should follow the doctor’s instructions, and should not use or increase or decrease the drug at will.
In addition, adverse reactions such as upper respiratory tract infection, arthralgia, fever, fatigue, headache, cough, etc. may occur during the use of vedolizumab.
