What’s wrong with the labia being big on one side and small on the other?

There are mainly physiological and pathological factors for the labia to be large on one side and small on the other. Physiological causes are mainly due to developmental problems in early childhood that lead to asymmetry on both sides, which do not require special treatment and do not have any effect on life. Pathological causes include local infection and swelling on the large side of the labia, which leads to asymmetry on both sides. It is also more common to see local hematoma formation due to trauma to the labia. There is also the case of large labia on one side and small labia on the other side due to the presence of vestibular gland in the labia majora and the occurrence of vestibular gland cysts. Asymmetrical labia caused by pathological conditions are often accompanied by other uncomfortable symptoms, such as local pain, itching, redness, swelling, pus, etc. Some women may also experience discomfort such as fever, or a clear history of trauma exists.
