Which points to massage for Parkinson’s

Parkinson’s belongs to the category of “tremor evidence” in Chinese medicine. To treat Parkinson’s, you can press Baihui, Sishinchong, Fengchi, Taichong, Hegu, Yanglingquan and other acupoints to soften the liver and quench the wind (to regulate the function of the liver to get rid of the internal wind (wind evil caused by abnormal function of the internal organs)), to calm down the spirit and stabilize the tremor; according to the different patterns of the evidence, you can also press the other acupoints.
According to the symptoms, Chinese medicine practitioners can categorize tremors into wind-yang internal movement syndrome, phlegm-heat wind movement syndrome, qi and blood deficiency syndrome, medullary insufficiency syndrome, and yang-qi deficiency and decline syndrome.
Taking the above acupoints as the basic acupoints, Liver Yu and Kidney Yu can be added to calm the wind and stop spasm (to calm the wind and relieve spasm) in cases of wind-yang and wind-driven symptoms.
For phlegm-heat and wind-driven cases, Fenglong and Yinlingquan can be added to clear heat and resolve phlegm and open the channels.
For deficiency of Qi and Blood, add Qihai and Bloodhai to benefit Qi and nourish Blood.
For deficiency of Qi and Blood, add Hang Zhong and Ren Yu to tonify the Kidney and fill in the marrow (to replenish the body’s essence and promote bone marrow development).
For insufficient yang qi, add Da Shi and Guan Yuan to benefit qi and warm yang.
Parkinson’s patients can be under the guidance of the doctor massage therapy, do not unauthorized treatment, in order to avoid improper operation to produce adverse consequences.
