If nasal bleeding stops on its own within a short period of time, no examination is usually necessary and observation at home is sufficient. If the bleeding occurs repeatedly within a short period of time, it is advisable to see an ENT specialist for an anterior rhinoscopy and, if necessary, a nasal endoscopy to determine the exact cause of the nasal bleeding.
