Nucleic acid test is currently unable to self-test, should refer to the new coronavirus antigen self-test kit use, mainly including self-test pre-preparation, sample collection, start the test, post-test processing. 1. Preparation before self-test: first wash your hands with running water, read the instructions carefully and check whether the nucleic acid self-test reagent is within the shelf life, check whether the contents of nasal swabs, sampling tubes, test cards, etc. are missing or broken. 2. Sample collection: the self-tester needs to carefully unpack the nasal swab, avoiding hand contact with the swab head, then tilt the head slightly, with one hand holding the end of the swab sticking to one side of the nostrils to enter, along the bottom of the lower nasal passage slowly backward into the 1-1.5 cm after the sticking of the nasal cavity to rotate for at least 4 times, and then repeat the same operation on the other nasal cavity. 3. Start the test: put the nasal swab collected into the sampling tube immediately, the swab head needs to be rotated and mixed in the preservation liquid for at least 30 seconds to ensure that the samples are fully eluted in the sampling tube, squeeze the swab head dry with your hand across the outer wall of the sampling tube, then discard the swab, put the cap on the sampling tube and drop the liquid vertically into the sample hole of the test card, and then interpret the results after 10 minutes. 4. Post-test treatment: Whether the test results are negative or positive, all used sampling swabs, sampling tubes, test cards and other items must be put into a sealed bag by the management personnel with reference to medical waste or according to the procedures for disposal. If the test result is positive, it needs to be reported to the community in time for isolation treatment.
