The main reason for acne on the clitoris is that you don’t pay attention to personal hygiene, resulting in local follicle blockage or infection. If there is simply acne on the clitoris and there is no local redness, swelling or pain, it is advisable to pay attention to the hygiene of the perineum and to observe it mainly. If there is significant redness and pain in the clitoral area, it is advisable to disinfect the area with iodophor and then apply mupirocin ointment locally. In order to avoid pimples and bumps on the clitoris, it is recommended to wash the perineum with warm water every night to keep it clean and dry, and to choose cotton, loose and breathable underwear to keep the local air flowing. It is also recommended to reduce the stimulation of the clitoral area to avoid infection of the clitoral area leading to blockage of the hair follicles and causing local acne and bumps.
