If there are bruises/veins in other parts of the body other than the legs, but they are not tortuous, this condition does not require attention or treatment. If the veins in the legs are bruised and have obvious earthworm-like tortuosity, then varicose veins can be diagnosed and should be seen in the vascular surgery department and have an ultrasound examination of the veins in the lower extremities to clarify the condition. The disease progress can be controlled and the symptoms delayed.
