The ear is a congenital deformity, mostly bilateral, but can also occur on one side. The upper end of the auricle is more than 2 cm from the cranial side, the concave and convex relationship between the opposite auricle and the navicular fossa is lost, the cranial ear angle is sometimes too large, and the auricle is flattened outward and forward. Surgery is performed to reduce and lower the nail cavity and to restore the contralateral auricular whorl and its posterior pedicle so that the concave and convex curve reappears. The diagnosis is based on: 1. congenital auricular deformity; 2. the deformity constitutes mainly due to the excessive angle of the navicular nail angle; 3. it is manifested by a flat auricle with a near right angle to the skull, a large auricle, mostly bilateral and not completely symmetrical. The para-auricular whorl is underdeveloped and the auricular nail is deep and large. The normal anatomical shape of the auricular navicular and para-auricular whorl disappears, the upper part of the auricle is flattened, and the angle of the navicular nail is greater than 150° or completely disappears.
