If the disease is prolonged, the local soft tissue necrosis may form abscess, and after the abscess breaks down, the local sinus tract will appear, and the pale costochondral bone can be seen to be exposed at this time. Treatment, for non-infectious costochondritis only need to give ibuprofen, diclofenac sodium, procaine and so on for analgesic treatment; for infectious costochondritis also need to use antibiotics, such as oxfloxacin, cefoperazone and so on to control the infection.
