The sequelae of patients with comminuted acetabular fracture are, first, likely to lead to traumatic arthritis of the hip joint. Comminuted acetabular fracture is likely to lead to breakage of the cartilage surface of the acetabulum, which will later lead to abnormal friction of the cartilage of the acetabulum, causing traumatic inflammation of the hip joint and traumatic arthritis, resulting in significant pain and restricted movement of the hip joint. Second, it is easy to lead to femoral head necrosis, which is mainly caused by excessive friction and stress on the femoral head, thus causing blood flow disorders in the femoral head, which leads to femoral head necrosis. Third, it is easy to lead to premature degeneration of the hip joint and osteoarthritis, which is also related to the damage and fracture of the articular cartilage surface after the acetabular fracture, and in the later stages of exfoliation, which will cause significant osteophytes around the hip joint and cause painful symptoms of hip joint activities.
