Slight differences in the balls (testicles) of infants and young children, with one large and one small, if not obvious, are mostly normal physiological phenomena. If there are obvious differences between the two testicles, you should consider the possibility of testicular inflammation and other diseases.
1. Normal phenomenon: Whether it is infants or adults, the two sides of normal male testicles are not exactly the same, there will be some differences. Usually, it is a normal physiological phenomenon.
2. Pathological phenomenon: if the size of testicles on both sides is obviously different, we should consider the possibility of epididymitis, orchitis and hernia and other pathological factors.
(1) Epididymitis: it will lead to redness, swelling and pain of the testicles on the affected side, and the phenomenon of different sizes of testicles on both sides.
(2) Orchitis: it can also lead to symptoms of redness, swelling or atrophy of the affected testicle, which in turn leads to the appearance of different sizes of testicles visible to the naked eye.
(3) Hernia: This symptom can also be caused by a hernia that has entered the scrotum.
The cause of this symptom is complex and may be related to varicocele and congenital dysplasia. It is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible to diagnose the cause of the disease, and be treated accordingly.
