Why do you tend to get blood in your nose in the morning?

Nasal discharge in the morning may easily bring blood with dry rhinitis, nasal septum deviation, nasopharyngeal carcinoma and other diseases.
1. Dry rhinitis: under the stimulation of chronic inflammation and adverse physical and chemical factors, the mucous membrane of nasal cavity is dry and the secretion of glands is reduced. Dry crusts can be formed on the mucous membrane surface of the front of nasal cavity, and the dry crusts can be blown out when washing face and blowing nose in the morning, and blood in snot can be easily seen after the mucous membrane is broken.
2. Deviated nasal septum: When the bone and cartilage of the nasal septum are deviated, the mucous membrane at the convex surface of the deviated surface, cristae and spines is thin, which can be broken under the stimulation of dry environment and external force. When blowing nose in the morning and alternating hot and cold air, it is easy to cause this situation, resulting in bloody nasal mucus.
3. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma: malignant tumor of epithelial origin that occurs in the nasopharynx, preferably in the posterior parietal wall of the nasopharynx and pharyngeal crypt. In the early stage, there may be blood in sniffing or blowing nose with blood, mostly in the morning. With the enlargement of the mass, symptoms such as nasal congestion, tinnitus and enlarged lymph nodes in the neck may occur.
There may be other causes such as malignant tumors of the nasal sinuses, etc., so you can consult your doctor for systematic examination to make a clear diagnosis.
