Hepatocellular infiltration is the accumulation of triglycerides in the cytoplasm of hepatocytes, also known as steatosis. 1. Etiology: Increased fatty acids in the cytoplasm of liver cells, increased triglyceride synthesis and decreased lipoproteins and apolipoproteins can lead to hepatic steatosis. Factors contributing to these include alcohol consumption, high-fat diet, malnutrition, diabetes and obesity. 2. Pathological changes: Hepatocyte is the main place of fat metabolism, most often occurring steatosis, significant diffuse hepatic steatosis is called steatohepatitis, and severe steatosis can be developed into hepatic necrosis and cirrhosis. Therefore, it is recommended that patients should have physical checkups on time to know their own physical condition and whether they have steatosis or not, so that they can seek medical treatment in time.
