Early Symptoms of Osteoma

Early symptoms of osteoma are localized pain, swelling and limitation of movement. 1. Pain: generally manifested as resting pain and night pain. 2. Swelling: some bulges may be palpable in certain joints or muscle manifestations. 3. Restriction of movement: when the tumor occurs around the joints, restriction of movement may occur. When the tumor develops gradually and invades other parts of the body, a series of compression symptoms will appear. 1. If the tumor compresses the site of skull, corresponding brain symptoms will appear, such as dizziness, blurred vision, walking, optic nerve disorder, limb disorder and so on. 2. If the site of compression is the nasal cavity, it may cause symptoms such as breathing difficulties. 3. If the tumor is in the pelvic cavity, when it presses on the rectum and bladder, it will cause bowel and bladder disorders. If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to identify the cause of the disease and then carry out targeted treatment.
