Patients with tuberculosis are generally not allowed to work. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that is mainly spread through airborne droplets. When a sputum-positive person with tuberculosis talks, coughs or sneezes, the airborne droplets contain a large amount of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can be inhaled by normal people and lead to infection of normal people. Not all people who inhale Mycobacterium tuberculosis will develop the disease, but the conditions of the disease are related to the number of infected Mycobacterium tuberculosis and the immune status of the individual body. Therefore, patients with tuberculosis need to be treated in isolation, especially sputum-positive patients, and hospitalization is generally recommended. After anti-tuberculosis treatment, multiple sputum tests are negative, and the patient can go home and continue treatment in isolation.
