Do granulomas go away on their own?

Granulomas usually do not go away on their own. Granuloma is a nodular lesion formed by infiltration and proliferation of macrophages as well as their evolved cells. Granuloma is also an inflammatory reaction in nature, and can be categorized as infected granuloma, foreign body granuloma, and granuloma nodosum. The main component of granuloma is the fusion of epithelioid cells, multinucleated giant cells and so on. Generally, granulomas may form on the skin, armpit, groin area, and neck. Granulomas generally do not go away on their own after they are formed. It is recommended to go to the hospital for elimination through physical therapy or surgery. If you find a granuloma, please consult a doctor in time to find out the cause of the disease and treat it symptomatically. Do not treat it on your own, as it may cause infection and aggravate the condition.
