Novel coronavirus pneumonia, which lasts for about one month, has not yet been systematized. However, in general, the majority of the population has a self-healing process during the course of the viral infection. The so-called self-healing process means that the immune system is activated after the virus has infected the cells of the lungs, and the activation of the body’s immune system kills the damaged cells of the lungs, allowing the regeneration of new cells, and ultimately curing the disease. In this process, most of the patients with mild disease have no after-effects, while some patients with severe disease may cause organ damage, such as myocarditis, renal disease, gastrointestinal tract disease, which may leave related complications. Of course, the prognosis of patients with chronic underlying diseases may be relatively poor after the occurrence of novel coronavirus infection. Because of their own organs may have problems, once some of the infection, not simply pneumonia itself, can cause a variety of organ damage, to the above disease may leave associated complications.
