Acute coronary syndrome, how to treat

Acute coronary syndromes can be categorized into unstable angina, ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. It can be treated by general treatment, medication and surgery to relieve ischemia, restore blood perfusion to the myocardium and prevent sudden death.
1. General treatment: patients with acute coronary syndrome need to pay attention to bed rest, keep a quiet environment and relieve bad emotions. And give cardiac monitoring, closely monitor vital signs. For those with respiratory distress, continuous oxygen inhalation should be given.
2. Drug therapy: ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients generally need thrombolytic or interventional therapy, commonly used recombinant human urokinase original thrombolytic drugs. In patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction and unstable angina pectoris, thrombolytic therapy is generally not needed.
In addition, patients with angina attack can be given nitroglycerin containing. Patients with acute coronary syndromes may also be given antiplatelet agents such as aspirin to prevent thrombosis. If there is no contraindication, low molecular weight heparin and other drugs should be used routinely for anticoagulation.
3. Surgical treatment: percutaneous coronary intervention and coronary artery bypass grafting are commonly used.
If the diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome is confirmed, the treatment should be standardized according to the doctor’s prescription.
