Why only Roxithromycin is effective in coughing

Coughs are not the only thing for which taking Roaccutane is effective. Roxithromycin is only effective for coughs caused by bacterial or mycoplasma infections, and is not effective for coughs caused by other reasons. Patients should choose the medication reasonably according to their own disease and under the guidance of the doctor.
Roxithromycin is a macrolide antibiotic, which has obvious antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria, and has a relieving effect on coughs caused by sensitive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus or pneumococcus, as well as mycoplasma infections. However, it is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to roxithromycin and erythromycin.
For coughs caused by other reasons, patients are advised to treat the symptoms. For example, viral infections use antiviral drugs, such as ribavirin granules; allergic pharyngitis use anti-allergic drugs, such as loratadine tablets; cough variant asthma use oral spray hormones, such as budesonide nasal spray; gastroesophageal reflux cough use acid inhibitors, such as famotidine tablets.
If you need to treat cough or use Roaccutane, it is recommended to consult a professional doctor and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment, not blindly self-medication.
