Irbesartan tablets are angiotensin receptor antagonists, which mainly act as vasodilators and lower blood pressure during use. Clinically, it is mainly used for the treatment of hypertension. For pharmacological treatment, the usual starting dose for hypertensive patients is 1-2 tablets per day, and the dose can be increased or decreased according to the patient’s condition, either alone or in combination with other anti-hypertensive drugs. For severe hypertension and unsatisfactory blood pressure control even after drug increase, a small dose of diuretic may be added. Adverse reactions may occur during drug administration, among which dizziness, headache, vertigo and palpitations are the most common, individual patients may develop cough, a few cases may lead to local skin redness, itching, rash and even angioneurotic edema, individual patients may have abdominal pain, diarrhea, and anxiety and other manifestations.
