Is lobular hyperplasia of the breast serious?

Lobular hyperplasia belongs to the category of breast hyperplastic diseases and is a relatively common non-inflammatory, non-tumorigenic proliferative lesion, not a serious disease. Lobular hyperplasia is caused by ovarian dysfunction and an imbalance in the ratio of elevated estrogen levels to luteinizing hormone. Many patients with lobular hyperplasia experience discomfort such as chest swelling and slight pain only before menstruation. Usually, lobular hyperplasia is a simple functional hyperplasia, and there is rarely a possibility of cancer. Lobular hyperplasia is more common in life. Patients with milder symptoms should pay attention to keep their mood relaxed and exercise appropriately, so there is no need to worry too much. The more severe symptoms need to follow the doctor’s advice on the use of drugs, the better the effect.
