Patients who do transplantation for lymphoma in general are relatively high-risk group, otherwise some mild disease lymphoma, such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, have 60%-70% cure rate with R-CHOP chemotherapy alone in early stage. So for those who have done autologous stem cell transplantation which is relatively high risk or aggressive, the relapse rate of this kind of stem cell transplantation is also there, but it is significantly lower than the relapse rate after chemotherapy alone. The recurrence rate varies depending on the prevalence of the disease, the malignancy of the disease, and the type of disease pathology, such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with primary mediastinum or diffuse large B-cell lymphoma with simple skeletal origin, the prognosis is completely different, or malignant lymphoma with extensive stage IV involvement, the recurrence rate of autologous stem cell transplantation is also different. However, the relapse rate is about 20%-30% or even 40%-50% for pure statistics, but the relapse rate after transplantation is definitely lower than that of chemotherapy alone. After allogeneic stem cell transplantation, the relapse rate is lower than autologous stem cell transplantation, but the relative complications are slightly higher because of anti-rejection therapy. However, the relapse rate of T-cell lymphoma is slightly higher than that of B-cell, which is the overall statistics.
