Patients with epilepsy should choose some gentle non-contact exercises, such as jogging, not seeking speed, keeping breathing evenly, relaxing the whole body, and gradually increasing the amount. You can also play tai chi, walk, etc. It is not advisable to participate in aggressive, punching and confrontational sports activities, such as wrestling and boxing. As these sports are too intense and physically demanding, they tend to make excessive breathing and cause seizures. Patients with frequent seizures are advised to reduce the amount of exercise and should be accompanied by a family member or friend. All patients with epilepsy should not do cycling sports, especially in busy traffic areas, to avoid being hit by moving vehicles.
