There are generally no specific symptoms in the three days before the end of life of heart failure, but most of them are mainly manifested in three aspects: deterioration of vital signs, aggravation of pulmonary circulation stasis, and aggravation of body circulation stasis. 1. Deterioration of vital signs: heart failure patients due to weak cardiac contraction or excessive return blood volume, will cause the ejection fraction reduction, the heart rate of more than 100 beats per minute, may be as high as 130 beats per minute or even more in the terminal; systolic blood pressure will be significantly reduced; the patient because of the lack of oxygen in the body will be accelerated respiration, suggesting that the aggravation of heart failure at any time there is a danger to life. 2. Increased pulmonary stasis: heart failure patients dying, due to increased preload, blood stays in the interstitial space of the lung tissue, and even leakage into the alveoli, resulting in severe dyspnea, coughing up pink foamy sputum, purple skin, through oxygen, diuretics, and cardiotonic effects are not obvious. This suggests a refractory period of heart failure, which is life-threatening at any time. 3. Increased body circulation stasis: due to the right ventricular dysfunction, resulting in blood stasis in the lower limbs, liver, gastrointestinal veins, which will be manifested as swelling of the lower limbs, hepatic stasis and gastrointestinal stasis, abdominal distension, transaminase elevation, etc., which is difficult to be relieved by cardiotonic diuretics, suggesting that the refractory period of heart failure is at any time life-threatening. Symptoms of heart failure patients three days before death will be different because of individual differences in performance, there are also acute heart failure in the day of death before the emergence of symptoms, most of the heart failure a few days before the end of the vital signs will be unstable, pulmonary stasis aggravated, increased circulation stasis, clinical judgment of the severity of heart failure should be clarified with the physician for a detailed consultation.
