Beware of food additives. Food additives, especially sulfites and monosodium glutamate, can trigger croup attacks. Sulfites are most commonly found in beer and other alcoholic beverages, shrimp, and fruits (especially apricot fruits). Most restaurants use sulfites to preserve lettuce salads, guacamole, sliced fruit, coleslaw, frozen dunked shellfish, canned foods, pickled products, frozen French fries, potato chips, wine vinegar, apple juice, potatoes, baked goods, salami, and wine. Sulfites can be found in any kind of food, including sodium bisulfite, potassium bisulfite and sulfur dioxide. They are often used to prevent food discoloration and bacterial growth.  3, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, soy products and seeds, oatmeal, brown rice, whole grains and other cereals. Kidney deficiency, treatment: tonifying the kidney and regulating the body. Prescription: Jin Kui Kidney Qi Pill or Seven Flavors Du Qi Pill plus or minus.  If there is no obvious symptom in general, we can use the remedy of tonifying the lungs and kidneys, such as ginseng, astragalus, wu wei zi, pecan meat, cordyceps, zihe cao, and so on, and we can also match with the products to resolve phlegm.  In addition, white mustard seed compress method is also effective in reducing and controlling the attacks of croup. The method is to put 20g each of white mustard seeds and Yanhuosuo, 10g each of Gansui and Hossein, and add 0.6g of musk, and evenly, and apply it with ginger juice to the points of Lung Yu, Plastered Heart and Bai Lao in three times in summer, about 1-2 hours, once every 10 days.
