To diagnose whether pancreatic head tumor is benign or not, it can be judged by clinical symptoms, imaging examination, tumor markers, pathological examination and so on. 1. Clinical symptoms: benign pancreatic head tumor may cause patients to have mild abdominal pain, but it will not worsen continuously, and there will not be other abnormal symptoms such as low-grade fever, lethargy and ascites. 2. Imaging examination: when benign pancreatic head tumor is examined by CT or magnetic resonance imaging, usually the boundary of the mass is clearer, and some tumors may also have obvious envelope. 3. Tumor markers: when patients with benign pancreatic head tumor undergo blood test, the tumor markers may not be obviously elevated. 4. Pathological examination is the gold standard for definite diagnosis. If there is any discomfort, go to the hospital as early as possible for examination and clear diagnosis, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
