How is abdominal tuberculosis caused

Peritoneal tuberculosis is usually caused by pulmonary or pleural tuberculosis or other tuberculosis spread to the abdominal cavity, and usually granular changes of the peritoneum, also called corn-like changes, are found during surgery. If the diagnosis of abdominal tuberculosis is confirmed, this condition requires regular administration of anti-tuberculosis drugs, such as quadruple anti-tuberculosis drugs, isoniazid, rifampin, ethambutol, pyrazinamide, etc., which are actively administered orally for about six months, usually in accordance with four months of quadruple drugs and two months of two drugs. When prescribing drugs, patients are advised to go to a regular medical institution’s infection department or pulmonary hospital for confirmation before taking anti-tuberculosis drugs for treatment. While taking the drugs, liver function and blood tests should be checked every two or three weeks to see if there is any liver function damage.
