There are two main types of liver cyst surgery, one is puncture drainage of liver cysts and the other is laparoscopic invasive drainage of liver cysts. 1. Liver cyst puncture and drainage: under ultrasound guidance, liver cysts are punctured and drained, and anhydrous alcohol is usually used for intracystic fluid injection. This is because anhydrous alcohol can destroy the cells of the cyst wall of liver cysts and play a role in the treatment of liver cysts, but at present, this procedure is less recommended because of the high recurrence rate. 2. Liver cyst laparoscopic invasive drainage: firstly, open the cyst wall of liver cyst and remove most of the cyst wall and destroy a small part of the cyst wall to achieve the therapeutic effect. In addition, partial hepatectomy is suitable for some patients. Patients should consider surgical treatment if they have obvious discomfort symptoms such as abdominal distension and abdominal pain, or if they find that their liver cysts have a tendency to increase in size year by year during regular follow-up.
