Ventricular radiofrequency ablation is a radical therapeutic measure and recovery can be achieved after 3 days of postoperative rest.
After the procedure, bed rest is recommended to minimize the movement of the affected limbs to avoid bleeding from the surgical site. During the bed rest period, it is recommended to consume easily digestible and absorbable food. Normal activities can be resumed gradually after 3 days of rest.
In the early stage after surgery, heart rate and rhythm should be closely monitored, and auxiliary examinations such as cardiac ultrasound, electrocardiogram and chest X-ray can be conducted as appropriate. Some patients may experience tachycardia episodes after surgery, but no treatment is needed when there is no evidence of true episodes in the auxiliary examinations. When recurrence occurs after discharge the ECG may be recorded and medical attention sought if available.
